Iranian, Iraqi Neighboring Provinces Bolster Cooperation

A009056810.jpgIran’s Kurdistan and Iraq’s Suleymanieh provinces signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday to boost mutual cooperation in the economic, cultural and educational sectors. The MoU, which also includes expansion of the two sides’ cooperation in the tourism sector, was signed to further deepen the existing friendly ties between the two neighboring provinces, a statement released by Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) said.

The two sides also voiced their support for the holding of specialized handicraft and tourism fairs and exhibitions.

Also in the agreement, the Iranian Kurdistan province has stated preparedness to arrange educational courses in grounds of medical services and rescue and relief operations.
