Iran, Malaysia to Boost Technological Cooperation

A00985215.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian and Malaysian officials signed several agreements to bolster the two countries’ technological cooperation.

The agreements were endorsed during a meeting between the president of the Science and Technology Parks of Iran’s northeastern province of Khorassan and a visiting Malaysian delegation.

In the meeting, the chief executive of Malaysia’s I-New Tech Co. said that science and technology parks in Khorassan and Malaysia resemble to a large extent.

Jafar Hashem said that following the formation of the two countries’ joint committee, a proper ground has been paved for the two states’ joint cooperation, in scientific and technological fields in particular.

He also said that over 70% of his country’s university students come from Iran, and expressed the hope that the ground would be prepared for the education of Malaysian students in Iran.

To conclude his words, Hashem extended an invitation to the Iranian companies to attend Malaysia’s ICT fair, saying that it would be an opening for the exchange of experience between the two sides.
