Senior Commander: World Nations Affected by Iran’s Resistance

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran’s resistance against bullying powers has given rise to new movements all around the world, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi said on Tuesday.

According to Firouzabadi’s office, he made the remark in a message to army commanders and military officials on the occasion of the Sacred Defense Week.

The Sacred Defense Week marks the start of the Iraqi invasion of Iran in 1980.

The era of Sacred Defense reflected the defense of the values of the Islamic Revolution and safeguarding the country’s territorial integrity, he said according to a report by the Islamic republic news agency.

The resistance of the Iranian people stems from their unity and faith under leadership of late Imam Khomeini, he said.

Inviting all people from various walks of life including military personnel to attend the International Qods Day rallies, he said Qods Day is manifestation of unity among the world Muslims, which serves to protect humanity from the global arrogance and Zionists.
