Suicide bomber kills two Pakistani soldiers

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) – A suicide car-bomber killed two Pakistani soldiers and wounded four on Wednesday in an attack on military camp in the northwestern town of Shabqadar, a military official said.

“The bomber rammed his explosive-laden car into a camp. We have reports of two soldiers dead and four wounded,” said the military official who declined to be identified.

Shabqadar borders the ethnic Pashtun tribal region of Mohmand, a sanctuary for al Qaeda and Taliban militants. Security forces are expected to launch an offensive against militants in Mohmand soon.
