Iranian Envoy Meets Yemeni FM

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian president’s envoy and head of the Culture and Islamic Relations Organization Mehdi Mostafavi met with Yemen’s Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi.

During the meeting in Sana, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between Iran and Yemen as well as means to boost mutual cooperation.

They further highlighted the distinguished Iranian-Yemeni relationship, stressing the importance of boosting Islamic cooperation through the Organization of Islamic Conference and international circles.

Also during the meeting, Mostafavi said Yemen’s stability and unity are crucial elements for regional stability.

Mostafavi arrived in Yemen to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Alsaleh Mosque.
