Sofia. Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov met with speaker of Macedonian Parliament Tajko Veljanovski, president’s office press office informs.
Bulgarian President pointed in the conversation Bulgaria will continue supporting Macedonia in its attempts for the realization of its European Atlantic perspectives, in the context of Bulgaria’s support towards countries from West Balkans.
Georgi Parvanov pointed return of the integration processes in Europe has stabilizing effect on the region of South East Europe. He also said Macedonia can get not only moral and political support from Bulgaria but also express help.
In reference to Macedonia’s will to access NATO, Georgi Parvanov said Bulgaria’s support for Macedonia was presented once and will be confirmed at the coming meeting in Strasburg.
Tajko Veljanovski expressed his satisfaction by the working visit in Bulgaria. He pointed Macedonia highly accesses principal Bulgarian support for its European Atlantic integration.
Georgi Parvanov and Tajko Veljanovski shared the view the negative effect of the global financial and economic crisis are beyond separate countries strength. This provides consideration of joint regional approach, supported by EU.
Georgi Parvanov and Tajko Veljanovski considered the issue about the bilateral relations. They shared the subject intensive political dialogue will help the strengthening of the bilateral economic relations.
