Moldavian opposition MPs abandon their Romanian citizenship

Chisinau.

Candidates for MPs in Moldavian Parliament from the three opposition parties took joint decision to abandon their Romanian citizenship, spokesman of Liberal Party Korina Fusu said, cited by Interfax.

In her words this decision had been taken by all the 20 candidates from the three opposition parties for members of the parliament that have Romanian citizenship of had applied for such.
