Russian, Moldovan prime ministers discuss bilateral cooperation by phone

The Russian and Moldovan prime ministers, Vladimir Putin and Vlad Filat, had a telephone conversation on Wednesday, Russian Prime Minister’s Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

While continuing the dialog that was started during the Yalta meeting of prime ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries, Putin and Filat considered pressing issues of trade and economic interaction, Peskov said.

In particular, the Russian and Moldovan prime ministers discussed bilateral interaction in the energy sector, the spokesman said.
