Newly appointed Albanian Ambassador Villi Minarolli Monday submitted his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
During the meeting, Serzh Sargsyan highlighted the importance of intensifying political dialogue and extending legal-contractual cooperation.
Parties agreed that their countries had similar expectations of establishing closer ties.
They also exchanged views over regional issues. Touching upon Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Mr. Sargsyan said the problem consisted in nations’ right to self-determination and had no religious background. For his part, Minarolli reiterated his country’s support to self-determination principle.
