Public administration officials have compiled answers to seven of the 35 chapters in the European Commission (EC) questionnaire, which is crucial to receiving EU candidate status. Answers on the free movement of workers, public procurement, fisheries, transport policies, economic and monetary policies, policies of trans-European transportation and customs were delivered to the Inter-ministerial Council for Integration on Thursday (February 18th). Albania must respond to 2,284 questions before the end of March, ahead of a progress report that will be filed regarding its EU integration process. Tirana applied for EU membership in April 2009.
