Georgian President’s visit to Romania postponed

President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili will not visit Romania April 30 as reported earlier. The visit was postponed upon the request of the Romanian side, which cited coinciding of the national celebration with the visit.
Mikheil Saakashvili’s visit to Bucharest is scheduled for June 2-3.

President will accept the proposal in case the date is acceptable for the Georgian side. At present, President Saakashvili has taken advantage of the Romanian suggestion and continues meetings with investors in the U.S.,” Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Nino Kalandadze said noting that President would arrive home earlier than planned.
