Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski met his Greek counterpart George Papandreou last evening in Madrid during the EU-LAC summit, the government informed.
During the meeting, the two prime ministers discussed name issue and Greece’s financial crisis.
The meeting went well. The two prime ministers expressed will and desire for sooner name solution. The two sides said they are open and committed for further direct meetings. Besides that they’ve discussed the region’s perspective in relation to its EU integration.
PM Gruevski have also met with presidents, prime ministers and foreign ministers of EU member states as well as representatives of Latin countries.
PM Gruevski has met with President of European Council Herman Van Rompuy and asked for support of Macedonia’s EU integration.
