The General Consulate of Romania to Balti will start working on Monday, July 12. Beginning that day, it will provide consular services for citizens from the Northern region of Moldova.
According to a press release of the Romanian Consulate to Balti, the institution will offer free Romanian visas, free cross border permits, will issue passports, as well as citizenship services.
The Romanian general consulate to Balti will also provide some notary and marriage services.
We specify that, on July 9, the official inauguration of the General Consulate of Romania to Balti will be held. The guests of the event will be Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Romania – Teodor Baconschi and Republic of Moldova – Deputy Prime Minister Iurie Leanca.
The ceremony will start at 11 a.m. It will cover a number of festive moments that will conclude with speeches of the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
The General Consulate of Romania to Cahul will be inaugurated on July 9.
