Brussels to hold conference today on Balkan organized crime

A conference on the fight against organized crime and corruption in the Balkans will be held in Brussels on Thursday. The gathering will be organized by the Serbian Justice Ministry.

The conference will present results that the countries in the Balkan region achieved in the fight against organized crime and corruption, and consider the activities and measures to take in the period to come.

The conference is being organized in cooperation with the Friends of Europe, a Brussels-based think tank for EU policy analysis and debate, Gallup Europe and Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence.

The meeting will also be attended by representatives of European organizations and anti-corruption agencies, as well as officials of the EU institutions and other Balkan countries.
