Macedonia is considering to ask UN to recognize its constitutional name

The idea popped up when Syria and Zimbabwe recognized the country’s constitutional name, making the total number of the UN member states that accept the name Republic of Macedonia more than two thirds. However, experts say the move could seriously damage the talks mediated by Matthew Nimitz.
