Bulgaria is not as ill prepared and corrupt as people in Western Europe would like to paint it, was Prime Minister Boiko Borissov’s message to the Austrian people after a meeting chancellor Werner Faymann.
Asked by journalists when he expected Bulgaria’s entry in the Schengen zone, Borissov said that Bulgaria was ready to join Schengen “tomorrow”.
Austrian chancellor Faymann said that Bulgaria will be accepted in the Schengen zone, when it achieves all the criteria required for entry, adding that he is certain of the country’s success.
