Kosovo and Macedonia signed a customs agreement on Friday (February 11th) in an effort to facilitate trade between the two countries. The document was signed by Macedonian Customs Administration chief Vanco Kargov and his Kosovo counterpart, Naim Huruglica. Macedonian Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski and Kosovo’s Finance Minister Ahmet Shala said that it will “contribute to eliminating the barriers to businesspeople and to the efficiency of the fight against illicit trade and other crimes”.
