Bosnia negotiations for new state government to intensify next week

Consultations on appointing a new chair of the Council of Ministers are to begin next week, but there is still no agreement between parties about the main posts in the state government.

Talks on forming a state government in divided Bosnia, and on distributing seats in the new Council of Ministers, should intensify next week, Djordje Latinovic, spokesman for Nebojsa Radmanovic, chairman of the State Presidency, said.

A state government had yet to be formed in Bosnia, months on from the last general elections on October 3, 2010.
