Bulgaria and Greece signed a police agreement for joint patrols in Greek resorts

The chief of the Greek police Eleftherios Ikonomou and the chief secretary of the Bulgarian Interior Ministry Kalin Georgiev have signed an agreement about the rules joint police patrols will have to observe in Greek resort towns.

The agreement is continuation of the joint police patrols in the Bulgarian resort town of Bansko in the winter.

The Bulgarian police officers on duty in Greece will not carry guns and will comply with Greek laws.
