Bulgarian PM says Macedonia should focus on its future

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has said that Skopje needs to look at the future from a different angle.

Borisov wonders whether going back in history is the best way to go in time when the country needs an economic growth and good infrastructure.

We hope that Macedonia will look at the future from a different angle. Of course, history is important, but when people are building infrastructure, demanding economic growth, I don’t think that the country should go back in history and raise new disputes. That’s the government’s job. We’ve always considered Macedonia as our friend and we wish it well. But, it is up to the Macedonian politicians to decide, Borisov said.
