Macedonia congrats Bulgaria’s new President

Macedonia’s head of state Gjorge Ivanov has sent a congratulatory letter to Rosen Plevneliev, the President-Elect of Bulgaria, expressing his hopes for further deepening of the bilateral ties.

“It’s an honor and pleasure for me to congratulate you for your election on behalf of the people of the Republic of Macedonia and myself, and to wish you success in this responsible position in favor of the prosperity of your nation,” reads Ivanov’s letter to Plevneliev, as cited by his press office.

Macedonia’s President further stresses his intentions to strengthen the good neighborly relations with Bulgaria and the political dialogue during the term in office of his new Bulgarian colleague.
