German FM to visit Athens for discussions

Greece’s foreign ministry says German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will visit Athens Sunday for talks with senior officials.

A ministry statement Friday said Westerwelle will meet Foreign Minister Stavros Dimas. Westerwelle is also expected to have talks with Prime Minister Lucas Papademos.

The visit comes as Greece rushes to complete negotiations with banks and other private holders of its government bonds.
