Azerbaijan and Moldova discuss bilateral cooperation

Visiting Moldova’s Prime Minister Vladimir Filat recently had a meeting with Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov in Baku. During the talks, Asadov praised relations between Azerbaijani and Moldova, highlighting the role of the presidents of both countries in development of bilateral ties.

He mentioned that both countries reached 50 documents which served as solid foundation for bilateral co-operation. Citing the role of parliaments in development of relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova, the speaker described co-operation between the two countries` parliamentarians within international organisations as “fruitful.” He also noted that the visit of Filat to Baku will play a vital role in boosting co-operation between both governments and legislative bodies of the two countries.
