Spanish MP visits Georgia, discuss bilateral relations

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili received the Spanish Congress of Deputies (lower house) Foreign Relations Committee chairman Josep Antoni Duran.

Duran hailed the political, economic and social reforms and said that his country supports Georgia’s aspiration to NATO and the EU.

The two parts discussed bilateral relations and economic cooperation. Duran expressed hope that parliamentary relations between Georgia and Spain will increase.
