European Parliament will vote resolution on Macedonia

The European Parliament will vote on the Resolution on the progress of Macedonia in 2012, proposed by British MEP Richard Howitt.

“People in the country and the region should realise that the number of the amendments is really small and that there was high level of consensus among the different political groups. The issues concerning the good neighbourly relations are sensitive and certain Greek or Bulgarian colleagues will want to put an accent on them. However, I am convinced that the European Parliament (EP) will vote on the document with big majority like last year and will show support to the country,” Howitt remarked.
