Georgia hosts conference on defence and security

On Thursday, Batumi hosts the conference on ‘The defence and security of Georgia’, which has become a significant security forum for the whole South Caucasus. The conference is attended by representatives of the Centre for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CSS).

The conference brings together politicians, experts and representatives of states to hold debates and discussions on the subject.

The event will be held for three days and will discuss topics such as ‘Prospects for Security Policy of Georgia’, ‘NATO Enlargement: Trends and Prospects in the candidate countries’ amongst others.
