Bulgaria parliament chair to visit Belgrade for talks on cooperation

Chairperson of Bulgaria’s 42nd National Assembly, Mihail Mikov, will be on a working visit to Serbia, the press office of the Bulgarian parliament announced.

The visit is organised at the invitation of the President of the Serbian National Assembly (Skupstina), Dr Nebojsa Stefanovic, and comes only few days after the decision of the European Council to set a date for the start of the EU accession talks with Serbia in January 2014.

During the visit to Belgrade Mr Mikov will hold summit talks with Serbian officials, such as Mr Stefanovic, Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, and President Tomislav Nikolic.

The focus in the talks will be put on the cooperation between Bulgaria and Serbia in the field of European affairs.
