Chadian President Idriss Deby very influential in CAR, said Monday that the ongoing transition in the country should “stop” and elections be held before the end of 2015, following a late surge of violence in September in Bangui.
“This transition must stop. It should be (better) poor election more than a shaky transition, “said Deby, after a meeting in Paris with President Francois Hollande. “May the international community to find the financial resources necessary to enable the transition to elections before the end of 2015,” he added.
