Arab League affirms support to Tunisia after Ben Guerdane attack

Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil el-Arabi has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Ben Guerdane, affirming the Arab organisation’s full support to the government and people of Tunisia in their fight against terrorism.
In a statement reported by press agencies Tuesday, the Arab League Secretary-General commended “the quick and firm intervention of the security forces and the army against terrorist attacks aimed at destabilising Tunisia and undermining the peaceful democratic transition process.”
For its part, the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) condemned in a statement Tuesday Ben Guerdan’s terrorist attack, asserting support to Tunisia and its war on terrorism and its position of principle against all forms of terrorism.
