Greek Foreign Minister Nikolaos Kotzias will pay Thursday an official visit to Algeria at the invitation of State Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra, said Wednesday a Ministry communiqué.
This visit “is part of the regular bilateral consultations and corresponds to the two countries’ desire
to work to reinforce the relations of friendship and cooperation which over the past years experience progress in various fields,” said the source.
The visit will be an opportunity for the two parties to “deeply review the questions related to the multi-sectoral cooperation, and the means to give a fresh impetus to their relations.”
It will also allow explore the new possibilities of exchanges notably in the economic field, ahead of the coming joint high committee of Algeria and Greece.”
The regional and international issues of common interest “will also be on the agenda of discussions between the two sides, ” concluded the communiqué.
