Who would win if the Belgrade elections were held tomorrow, and who was the best mayor: New NSPM research on ratings

If the Belgrade elections were held tomorrow, the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) would receive the support of 37.8 percent of the respondents, while the coalition partner, the Socialist Party of Serbia, could count on the support of nine percent, according to the New Serbian Political Thought survey in the territory of Belgrade in the period from 14. until January 24 on a sample of 900 respondents.

If those who did not declare who they would vote for are included, the SNS could count on the support of 29.2 percent of citizens, while the SPS would have seven percent of support in that case.

The Party of Freedom and Justice could count on 6.1 percent of support, or 4.7 percent of support if those who did not declare who they would vote for are included.

The New Democratic Party of Serbia, Serbia Center, Ecological Uprising would also enter the city parliament, while the Doors and Zavetnici movement, which exceed the threshold of three percent, could also have councilors.

Serbia’s entry into the EU is supported by 34.3 percent of respondents, while 50.6 percent oppose it.

Membership in the EU is supported by even fewer respondents in Belgrade, if the condition for that is Kosovo’s membership in the United Nations, 9.4 percent, while 78 percent of respondents oppose integration in that case.

Sanctions against Russia are not supported by 79.4 percent of respondents, while 8.5 percent of Belgraders support the introduction of restrictive measures against Moscow.

According to public opinion research, the best mayor of Belgrade is Branko Pešić, while behind him is Goran Vesić, who has never held that position.

Vesić received the support of 15.9 percent of the respondents, that is, 11.4 percent of those who did not declare, while Dragan Đilas, who was the mayor, has the support of 11.4 percent of the respondents.
