The strike occurred in Rafah’s Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood, where thousands were taking shelter. According to Israeli officials, the IDF ensured that no civilians were in the vicinity of the strike. However, a flare-up occurred, causing a fire that spread to nearby tents and buildings. The cause of this fire is currently under investigation by the IDF and other security forces.
