The Moroccan Foreign Trade Minister discussed future trade and business cooperation with Iranian Commerce Minister Massoud Mir Kazemi on Thursday. The Moroccan minister is currently on a trip to Iran to develop bilateral ties.
“It is necessary for both sides to prepare grounds for active participation of the private sectors in Iran and Morocco,” Mir-Kazemi said.
The Iranian Minister discussed signing mutual trade agreements between the two countries, which would prevent double taxations and customs cooperation as well as forming a shipping company between Morocco and Iran.
Voicing his country’s ambitions to expand its business presence, the minister said “Iran is capable enough to increase trade to North, South and East of Asia.”
Iran is ranked globally 14th in shipping and transport.
