TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale jolted the district of Halshi in Iran’s western province of Kermanshah on Saturday.
The seismological network of Kermanshah affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University registered the quake at 03:10 hours local time (23:40 GMT Friday night).
The epicenter of the quake was located in an area measuring 47.20 degrees in longitude and 34.05 degrees in latitude.
Also on Thursday an earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale jolted the district of Hamil in the vicinity of the city of Eslamabad Gharb in the same province.
The seismological network of Kermanshah registered the quake at 04:40:25 hours local time (01:10:25 GMT).
The epicenter of the quake was located in an area measuring 46.79 degrees in longitude and 34.02 degrees in latitude.
According to FNA dispatches, the quakes have caused no casualties or damage to properties.
