Iran Closes Borders with Pakistan

A03485156.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iran closed its border with Pakistan on Saturday in view of the uncertainty in Pakistan.According to sources, the Iranian authorities informed Pakistani border officials about the closure of the border with Pakistan for an indefinite period.

Sources said the Iranian government had taken the decision after unrest in Panjgur, Turbat, Gwadar, Mand and Taftan areas of Balochistan.

“Yes, Iran has closed its border with Pakistan,” a Pakistani official said on conditions of anonymity.
