Iran, Kuwait Discuss Media Cooperation

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini inspected Al-Rai Cultural and Press Institute in Kuwait City on Wednesday.

Hosseini held talks with Managing Director of the institute Yusuf al-Jalahma, calling for expansion of cooperation between Iran and Kuwait in the fields of media and press, IRNA reported.

The spokesman also visited different sections of the press institute including the Al-Rai TV network studio, news room and printing equipment.

The Al-Rai Cultural and Press Institute, including a TV network, is one of the most popular domestic networks in Kuwait, and its newspaper is distributed in the region.

Hosseini, who is accompanying Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, was also scheduled to meet with the Kuwaiti information dissemination minister on Wednesday
