TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that despite the abundant potentials and material talents of such world continents as Africa and South America, the world powers have deprived these countries and nations of their certain rights.
Addressing a large congregation of the public in the city of Savojbolagh in the vicinity of Tehran, the Iranian president also criticized the world powers for committing worldwide crimes in the name of human rights and peace.
Ahmadinejad said that the free nations of the world have called on Iran to support them, and continued, “Opposition of our enemies to nuclear weapons is a big lie, because they possess arsenals filled with such weapons, while they are currently testing new generations of nuclear weapons.”
“They have armed the forged regimes (i.e. the Zionist regime of Israel) with nuclear weapons, while they do not respect the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). They have told me very frankly that in case they allow Iran to make progress, it would certainly turn into one of the world’s super powers,” he added.
The chief executive official mentioned that enemies intend to prevent Iran’s progress through new methods and barriers, and went on to say, “But they may never succeed in doing so.”
Meantime, the Iranian President underscored the point that his country may not suspend its nuclear enrichment activities even for one single day.
Ahmadinejad also stressed that western countries are endeavoring to sow seeds of discord among the Iranian nation, and addressing the West, he concluded, “But you must know that you can never manage to break up the Iranian nation and all your efforts to sow discord among our people have and will fail.”
