PKK Kill Iranian Police

A0013612.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- An informed source said that an Iranian police officer was killed in clashes with the Iranian wing of Kurdistan’s Workers’ Party (PKK).

The source who asked to remain anonymous told FNA on Monday that the clash started after members of the terrorist group ‘Free Life of Kurdistan PJAK’ (Iranian wing of the PKK) started shooting from their hideout at a military vehicle which was passing by the nearby areas on Sunday.

During the 30-minute crossfire, the PJAK agents killed a 25-year-old lieutenant and wounded a sergeant and a soldier.

The source also added that the PJAK agents fled the region after the shoot-out and crossed Iran-Turkey borders.
