TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian Parliament Speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel stressed that his country supports the oppressed Palestinian and Lebanese nations with all its possibilities.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Qods Day rallies here on Friday, he said Iran believes that supporting the oppressed Palestinian and Lebanese nations is a necessity and a religious and humanitarian requirement, and reminded that the public rallies on the International Qods Day manifest Muslim support for the Palestinian cause.
“And we are striving to show our all-out support for the Palestinian and Lebanese people through staging rallies and participating in various political conventions and meetings,” the chief lawmaker reiterated.
He continued, “The extensive presence of the public in the Qods Day rallies had this message for the US and the criminal Israel that the world Muslims may never forget the Zionists’ cruelties and oppressions, even though it is now 60 years since the holy Qods was first occupied.”
The legislative official further underlined that all the Muslims worldwide will continue with their protests at the US and Israel until a full restoration of the Palestinians’ rights.
“Today is the time when nations, and not governments, make decisions and the world Muslim nations have shown in action that they have not recognized Israel and the Zionist regime as an established reality,” he added.
To conclude his words, Haddad Adel stressed once again that the Islamic Consultative Assembly would do everything within its possibilities to help the oppressed nations of Palestine and Lebanon and to the restoration of their rights.
