Serbia, Romania signed a plan military cooperation

The chiefs of Serbian and Romanian MoD military cooperation departments signed on Thursday in Belgrade a plan for bilateral military cooperation for 2010.

The plan, signed by Milorad Perić and Alexandru Cotoara-Nicolae, envisages exchange of high-level visits, joint exercises and exchange of experiences in the defense system reform.

It also envisages transfer of Romania’s experience in participation in the Partnership for Peace program and in multinational operations, the Serbian Defense Ministry said on its website.

“Bilateral military cooperation is constantly being fostered and joint activities have contributed significantly to bilateral cooperation in defense,” it was noted during the meeting.
