Georgia’s President Mikheil Saakashvili met with Slovakian Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak. He said that Slovakia is ready to fully support Georgia in Euro-integration process and share its experiences, the Georgian President’s press-service said.
“We know what it is necessary to be successful and what the result will be. We are kind-hearted mediators. We have no other intentions but to help. We want to help you to take the place which Slovakia has already held,” Lajcak said.
“I hope that by summer we will achieve simplification of visa regime with Europe. People will not have to stand in long queues, he said. In two years, I hope the initiative of Poland and Finland will be implemented. Georgia’s citizens will not need visas. Free trade regime will be launched”, Saakashvili said.
