Armenian president visits Serbia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will embark on a two-day official visit to Serbia on Monday, during which he will confer with Serbian top officials.

Sargsyan will confer with Serbian President Boris Tadić, and parliament speaker Slavica Đukić-Dejanović.

The Serbian president paid a visit to Yerevan in July 2009 when he agreed with the Armenian president that regional conflicts such as Kosovo and Metohija and Nagorno-Karabakh have to be resolved without use of force, but exclusively by means of talks and in keeping with norms of international right.

The official Yerevan does not recognize Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence.
