Turkish FM meets NATO Secretary-General

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu on Thursday met with NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen in Istanbul.

During the meeting, the two held talks about the road map that Turkey had proposed in the hopes of finding a settlement to the Libyan crisis.

Davutoğlu also briefed the NATO chief about his latest visit to Benghazi and his talks with the rebel government. Rasmussen is set to participate in the fourth Libya Contact Group’s meeting on Friday to discuss the latest developments in the Libyan war and ways for peace in the North African country.
