Serbian President to address UN General Assembly regarding Kosovo situation

Serbian President Boris Tadić will address the UN General Assembly on Friday, within the General Debate that began on September 21.

The Serbian president will hold a series of bilateral meetings with officials from around the world on the sidelines of the session. 

He said recently that Belgrade will remain committed to the dialogue that can lead to solutions to the issues between Serbs and ethnic Albanians.

During the talks with the Serbian president on the situation in Kosovo, Ban expressed his concern over the deterioration of the situation in northern Kosovo, and pointed to the need to maintain peace.
