Bulgaria and Turkey sign agreement on economic and technological cooperation

The Bulgarian government ratified yesterday an economic cooperation agreement with Turkey.

The agreement would boost commercial, economic, technical and technological cooperation between the two countries. The ratification came ahead of Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov’s visit to Turkey before March 20.

Turkey ranked number 19 among countries making the most direct investments in Bulgaria between 1996 and 2010, with 432.4 million euros.
