India and Georgia discuss bilateral cooperation

The Georgian and Indian Foreign Ministries held the fourth round of bilateral political consultations in Tbilisi.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that a delegation of the Indian Foreign Ministry was headed by Secretary of the Eurasia Division Ajay Bisaria.

Members of the Indian delegation met with Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania within the consultations.

During the consultations, the sides discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral relations, stressed the need to intensify the cooperation in the fields of agriculture, energy and education, as well as to regulate the legal framework.
