Iraq's PM says troops won't hesitate to bomb IS in Syria if necessary

Iraq’s Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abadi on Tuesday said his country wouldn’t hesitate to bombard targets of the so-called Islamic State in Syria again if necessary.
Speaking at a news conference, he added that Iraqi forces don’t want to interfere in domestic affairs of neighboring countries, but they had to shell IS targets in Syria some months ago in retaliation for a terrorist attack on Iraq.
He stressed that the action was taken at that time in collaboration with the Syrian government.
If there are repeated terrorist threats posed by IS, the Iraqi aircraft will strike them without hesitation, he stressed.
In reply to calls for crossing the Syrian borders to pursue IS militants, he pointed out that it is “illegal and unconstitutional move.”
The Iraqi fighter jets bombed the Syrian town of al-Bu Kamal last February, targeting a group, the government said, it was involved in a terrorist bombing in Baghdad.
