The Tunisian Foreign Minister Khamis Al Jheinawi on Tuesday met the Head of the UN Support Mission in Libya Ghassan Salama.
The meeting centered on the Libyan issue, especially the meeting on Libya called by the UN Secretary General in New York in September, and the meeting which the AU High Level Presidents Committee on Libya is due to hold in Congo Brazzaville on Sep. 9.
Salama stressed the need for urgent steps to be taken to resolve the Libyan crisis, warning that multiple approaches would only undermine efforts to settle the issue.
