Third secretary of Japanese embassy in Tehran voiced deep enthusiasm of his country’s companies to make investments in Iran, saying that Tokyo seeks to expand ties with Tehran.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad underlined that development of relations with the neighboring countries sets a top priority for the Islamic Republic.

Iran warned the UN Security Council on Monday against imposing new sanctions over its nuclear activities, saying such a move would render its cooperation with the UN atomic agency and other talks “sterile”.
