A prominent Iranian MP here today showed strong opposition to negotiations with the US, saying that attending talks with the US is meaningless under the current conditions, when Iranian diplomats have been kidnapped and tortured by the US troops in Iraq.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini dismissed US military attack on Iran, saying that the US does not enjoy the required capabilities to invade Iran due to regional conditions.

Gambian Foreign Minister Bala Garba Jahumpa voiced his country’s support for Iran, stressing that Banjul will always accompany Tehran under all conditions.
